The improvisors’ pool is a place for playing and learning free improvisation in a relaxed, open workshop atmosphere. It welcomes players of all levels and backgrounds, be it classical, jazz or whatever; just bring an instrument and play. Many talented musicians have played at the improvisors’ pool along the years. Its current home is the Ralph Thornton Centre, 765 Queen Street East in Toronto, Canada. We meet there every Wednesday between 7:00 and 9:00 PM.
